Bhrigu Lake is just 6 km away from the Gulaba village and it sits at an elevation of around 4,300 metres (14,100 ft) in Kullu district on the east of Rohtang Pass. The camp sites at Kothi & Raoli Kholi offer heavenly views to wake up to. On a bright sunny day, the lake is a saturated with unforgettable shades of blue while covered with snow during winters. The journey to the lake is mesmerizing as the destination. Legend has it that the sage used to mediate near the lake and hence it has been rendered sacred; the locals believe that due to this the lake never freezes completely.

I have enjoyed two camps with Camp Wanderers- Trek to Bhrigu Lake(2016) and Deo Tibba Base(2017), and I had the best times! It feels so good to escape the summer heat and return back with tonnes of memories. You meet new people as strangers but when it’s time to say goodbye, you have tears in your eyes because you have got a new family. The camp instructors are supportive, helpful and friendly. There are captains of all ages so, you can easily talk with them. Be it trekking, campfire, team-building games or the wonderful campsites with mesmerizing views, it was super fun…. We get hot tea/coffee in the morning and evening, hot and tasty breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner at such heights too…. Looking forward for more trips with Camp Wanderers!!

My experience with Camp wanderers is excellent.
Apart from the general trekking, and adventure activities, this camp was good for the little things like we were once told, ‘During the trek today, if you are keen enough, you will be able to identify about 50 shades of green around. So keep an eye out!’ As an artist, I really appreciated this.
Also, being a foodie, I really enjoyed the the food. Even up at that height, they made Indian sweets like mohanthal.
The leaders were very friendly and fun and at the same time commanded great respect.
All in all, I really love Camp Wanderers.

To best camp team, best time and ya served with best food! You guys were amazing! From teaching us all the moral values to enabling us have our best of time, you guys turned out to be best mentors! You all were undoubtedly the best company one could have during the trek, you taught a lot of things in mountains which i couldn’t have sitting at my place with my cell phone. So thank you once again.

My trekking experience with Camp Wanderers is Awesome.
Apart from the trek, camp leaders are supportive & helpful and they are always there with us.
I have done 3 treks with this organisation Hamta Pass, Chandrakhani Pass & Deo tibba(many more left) in recent years and my experience was amazing. Everything they provide us is excellent. The food they serve is so delicious.
The management is perfect. I recommend you to go for a camp with them. This camp is not only for adventure or for leisure but it also helps to build some crucial qualities like coordination, team work, situation handling etc.
One thing I hate about this camp is the ‘Goodbye’ time… I regret this moment as from strangers to a very well connected family, from lost souls to bffs, from not speaking to anyone to annoying everyone. This camp makes so much valuable memories that can’t I can’t even think to forget.
So Thank you CW for such a wonderful experience 🌈.
