So I was planning to go to Rishikesh, and I had no clue on how to go about things. Then I went to the office of camp wanderers and met Arpit Sir. And as I was travelling alone,I had a lot of questions and I guess I came to the right place. Arpit sir solved all my doubts and guided me all the way on how to go about things.
Coming to the camping. It was heaven. All the five days spent were heavenly. The campsite and Navraj Sir were super friendly and made me feel very safe. It was a beautiful and safe to say I had the best experience of my life. Rafting was beautiful ,and it was worth while. Dev sir made us have super fun and did all kinds of Rapids. The camp was super comfortable and I’m definitely coming again. I would recommend it to everyone. A super beautiful experience.

I have always believed that one can not have the real feel and fun of being at a place far from home and totally out of his comfort zone. I, with my friends, recently went to Byasi with Camp Wanderers. It was my first experience of such kind in my life and it will surely be memorable forever.
I have learnt so many things there which no classroom or home could have ever taught me. Being out of my comfort zone and virtually disconnected from my loved ones, I found me close to myself and mother nature. I learned to make new friends, to keep my belongings organised, to be punctual as well as to be physically fit and mentally strong in order to participate in the various adventurous activities and enjoy the camp to the fullest. I realised my own hidden potential and found a new meaning of life and the world.
Our instructor, Rujuta Ma’am, our camp manager and his team knew exactly how to mould us in these 6 days so that when we get back to home we would be somewhat a different person with a changed perspective to see the world. They not only put enough efforts that we didn’t have to face any troubles but they also ensured that we learn troubleshooting on our own. They guided us, but never pampered us. And Rujuta Ma’am really provided as a motherly figure for us throughout these 6 days.
Some experiences of this camp are indescribable. Rafting through the rapids in the purest water of the holiest Ganga is a sheer delight. We all enjoyed it thoroughly. And most importantly, the friendly, warm, affectionate and homely atmosphere at our campsite didn’t make us miss our homes at all!!! The food there was so remarkable that only a bite could make us forget all our tiredness and body aches!!
Thanks a lot Camp Wanderers for this amazing experience and such beautiful memories that I’ll cherish for a lifetime. Looking forward to having many more such unforgettable experiences with Camp Wanderers!
