Ex. Ahmedabad – First Day

Ahmedabad – Delhi

Group departs from Ahmedabad for Delhi by train. Overnight in train.

Ex. Ahmedabad – Second Day

Delhi — Rishikesh

Group arrives in Delhi. Departs by bus to Rishikesh. Reaches Rishikesh by the evening. After the brief about the camp and safety precautions, check into your rooms. Overnight in hotel.

Day 1

Rishikesh – Govindghat

Early morning leave for Govindghat. It is located at a distance of 200km away from Rishikesh and is the winter abode of Lord Badrinath. You’ll reach Govindghat by evening. Check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay. [Dinner]

Day 2

Govindghat – Ghangaria

Post breakfast, start trekking towards Ghangaria with packed lunch. Ghangaria is also known as Govind Dham is the base camp for Hemkund Sahib and the valley of flowers trek. after completing a 10 km trek, you will reach Ghangaria, Where you will spend the night. [Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea, Dinner]

Day 3

Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria

Today all your hard work will finally pay off as you will hike to the valley of flowers national park. The swift trail will walk past the thick vegetation consisting of the exotic Himalayan flowers and the wild flora, creating an alluring canvas for exploration. [Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea, Dinner]

Day 4

Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria

The fourth day of the journey would start early in the morning. Have your breakfast early. The trek will be steep. There are many shops on the way to Hemkund sahib so no need to carry water in advance just one bottle is enough. Trek at your own pace and take rest at regular intervals. After reaching the Hemkund Sahib you can take bath in the sacred lake and visit the Gurudwara. Listen to Ardaas there and take Prashad. Then you would be visiting the Laxman temple. After spending an hour trek back to the Ghangria base camp. [Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea, Dinner]

Day 5

Ghangaria – Auli

After your breakfast in the morning we descend to Govindghat and then drive to Auli. Check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay. [Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea, Dinner]

Day 6

Auli – Rishikesh

After having a nutritious breakfast, drive to Rishikesh and stay at Rishikesh and enjoy the vibes of Rishikesh. Check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay. [Breakfast]

Ex. Ahmedabad – Second Last Day

Rishikesh – Delhi – Ahmedabad

Group departs for Delhi in the morning. Reach Delhi around the evening and depart to Ahmedabad by train.

Ex. Ahmedabad – Last Day

Ahmedabad

Group arrives in Ahmedabad. Tour concludes.

REGISTRATION

For registration fill up the application form duly signed with advance fee of Rs. 5000 & one recent passport size photo. Balance amount payable before 30 days from program starting date. All the charges are per person. Cheque / DD should be in favour of Camp Wanderers, payable Ahmedabad. Organisers reserve the right of admission. The total cost includes accommodation, food & travel. Kindly submit photo copy of your Photo ID proof. You are supposed to carry original copy of the same during the journey. In the absence of Photo ID, participants may have to pay fine.

FOOD AND ACCOMODATION

Tented accommodation will be provided at each campsite. In case of Eco Camp / Jeep Safari, the same will be in hotel. Hygienic vegetarian food prepared by our cooks will be served at each Camp Sites / Hotels. Jain food will be provided on prior request. Participants have to manage drinking water and food on their own during the journey.

DISCIPLINE

Unreasonable behaviour as well as use of drugs, alcohol & tobacco in any form is strictly prohibited during entire programme. Any defaulters will immediately be sent back at their own risk and cost & disciplinary action will be taken against them. The discipline also include to carry out any task in connection with the programme assigned by the Camp Leaders.

SAFETY & FIRST AID

A great deal of preparation has gone into the planning of the camps / eco tours for ensuring safety. While every care has been taken to ensure safety of the participants, CAMP WANDERERS cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities. Organisers will not be responsible for loss, theft or any damage to participants luggage throughout the entire camp / eco tour. First-aid facilities will be available at every campsite. Those on special treatment or with known drug allergies should carry their own necessary medicines.

CANCELLATION

If cancelled before 1 month from program starting date, 25 % of cost will be deducted. If cancelled before 15 days from program starting date, 50 % of the cost will be deducted. If cancelled within 15 days from program starting date, no refund will be given. Cancellation charges will be applicable on total programme cost. Kindly note that booking is not transferable.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Applicants not interested in community living need not apply.
Liquor, Tobacco & Smoking is strictly prohibited.
Registration is non-transferable to any other camp/programme/group or to any other person.
Camp Wanderers reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reasons.
Camp Wanderers shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the person or property as well as personal belongings of participants.
The time schedule & discipline will have to be strictly observed by the participant during the programme.
Any loss or damage to the equipments provided by Camp Wanderers shall be charged extra.
Camp Wanderers reserves its right to cancel any camp without prior notice.
Camp Wanderers may also be cancel a camp in case the camp fails to accumulate enough participation. Under such circumstance, alternative batch or camp may be suggested or the amount paid towards the camp will be refunded by A/C payee cheque only. No other claims will be entertained.
Camp Wanderers reserves its right to increase the fee, change the number of days or trek route, if situation so desires due to unforeseen reasons or circumstances such decisions shall be implied and fully binding to all the participants.
Camp Wanderers will make best efforts to provide & give facility as per details of programme. However, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond control, Camp Wanderers shall have full rights to alter or change or cancel any programme or activity without prior notice and shall not be held responsible.
In the unlikely event, if a camp/programme/group results in an extended stay, each participant is liable to pay INR. 700.00 in cash to the camp leader.
All legal matters shall be subject to Ahmedabad City Courts Jurisdiction only.
Any and every oral instruction or instructions by Camp Wanderers shall have to be strictly observed and followed by the participants.
Defaulter in any way and manner will be immediately terminated from the camp/programme/group without assigning any reason or reasons.
In case of termination from the camp/programme/group, no refund shall be granted. Accommodation and logistics upon termination is solely participant’s responsibility.
Camp Wanderers reserves the right to use participant information and/or media in marketing collaterals and press releases.
Camp Wanderers is not liable to share any details of participants on a camp.
Local cheque/DD to be submitted in favour of “Camp Wanderers”. Additional charge if INR. 300.00 may be applicable per cheque in case of dishonour of cheque.
The balance amount payable before 30 days from program starting date. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation without any notice. No refund claims would be entertained in case of this cancellation.
Camp Wanderers shall not liable in case of any conflict or conflicts between participant or participants.
All additional charges in case of an injury or severe illness that result in participant being admitted to a hospital or be sent back by flight or any other means of transport, are to be borne in full by the parents. In the light of expense paid by Camp Wanderers, the same has to be transferred within 24 hours.
